The resort needed a solution that could seamlessly deliver high fidelity audio across multiple spaces, both indoors and outdoors, while maintaining discreet aesthetics that matched the resort’s sophisticated design. From serene spa zones to vibrant poolside lounges, each area demanded independent control, flexibility, and clear sound. Traditional centralized cabling solutions would have been complex, invasive, and limiting for future expansions.

A multi-zone Audio-over-IP (AoIP) system built on Audinate’s Dante protocol, ensuring flawless digital transmission of audio signals over the hotel’s fiber optic and copper infrastructure.

At the heart of the project is a Dante-based Audio-over-IP architecture, ensuring high-fidelity digital audio transmission across the resort’s fiber and copper network. Unlike the fragmented systems often found in hotels, this approach provides a seamless, unified soundscape that connects every guest-facing and back-of-house zone.

Instead of relying on a single central rack, amplifiers and processors are distributed into localized technical areas. This decentralized structure shortens cabling runs, minimizes complexity, and makes it simple to add new zones in the future.

The system is powered by Biamp’s Tesira platform, an open-architecture DSP that offers virtually unlimited flexibility. Staff and integrators can adapt routing, processing, and control to new requirements as they arise, ensuring the installation is both future-proof and tailored precisely to the hotel’s needs.

For guest-facing spaces, Biamp Desono loudspeakers were chosen for their balance of performance and design. Compact two-way speakers deliver crystal-clear sound coverage while blending discreetly with the resort’s architecture. With an IP64 environmental rating, they perform reliably both indoors and outdoors in the Aegean climate.

Staff no longer need to juggle remotes or complicated interfaces. Apprimo touch panels provide an elegant, user-friendly control solution, with customized user profiles for each department. Employees only see the functions they need, reducing errors and making operation effortless - especially for non-technical staff.

Multiple music streams can be routed independently across all zones, allowing staff to adjust volume and source selection effortlessly to create the perfect atmosphere in every space. For special occasions, staff or entertainers can connect local sources such as microphones, Bluetooth devices, or other equipment, and share them instantly across chosen zones.
